David Bowden is an award-winning bass player and composer based in Glasgow. He is a member of Modern Vikings and the Mercury Prize nominated Fergus McCreadie Trio.

Born of his passion for the instrument, this new solo-bass show will highlights the lyrical and textural capabilities of the double bass drawing from a wide-ranging musical palette. With a repertoire that weaves together original compositions and thoughtfully arranged songs from the realms of jazz, folk and pop, expect an exploration of uplifting melodies, expressive improvisation and buoyant rhythms.
