Art vs Jazz

On Saturday we will be exploring the intersection of jazz and other art forms as well as hosting an open workshop with our
Artist in Residence Charlotte Keefe.

12.30pm: WordPlay

Spoken word and jazz session.

2pm: Art vs Jazz with Sun Dogs

Performance from creative jazz quartet Sun Dogs with an invitation to local artists to attend and respond to the music, with the band responding in turn to work produced.

3.30pm: Charlotte Keeffe workshop

Our 2024 Artist in Residence will be hosting a creative jazz workshop. Participants will be offered the opportunity to perform on a couple of numbers at her performance on Sunday.

5.30pm: Open sessions

There will be slots available for festival and local artists to book to showcase something. All that we ask is that its innovative and new.

9pm: Lancaster Jazz Jam at LJF

We are pleased to be hosting this well-established local jam session. Firmly based in the local community it’s very inclusive
and for caters for all abilities. Come along and PLAY.
