LuLuLu X Yumé NET

Herbarium Duration: 60 minutes

Luca Manning, aka LuLuLu, invites you into her immersive ecosystem of sound. She studied at Guildhall and is passionate about using sound as an embodied force, harnessing processes of improvisation for generative creation.

She draws inspiration from nature, viewing change as a continuous, transformative process. Luca explores the intersection of human voice and processed sounds through improvisation and advanced technology using granular synthesis to reflect the struggle to find comfort in flux. She is currently excited about her ongoing journey in sound experimentation.

LuLuLu will be joined by Yumé NET, crafting coruscating, otherworldly musical landscapes that explore what it means to be human in an increasingly online society, using experimental, electronic jazz as a framework. Tender but heavy, calculated but loving, her music invites the listener to explore what lies between and beyond the 0s and 1s.

This concert is as much a birth as it is an experiment, a live cross pollination of two otherworldly artists coming together to co – create.
