At Lancaster Jazz Festival we are constantly striving to improve our accessibility. If you encounter any issues or know how we can improve please get in touch. Producing events in multiple venues throughout a historic city centre does offer up multiple challenges and we are doing the best we can to try and ensure everyone can access our events.

Safe spaces statement
Lancaster Jazz Festival are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive space for all, where no forms of discrimination are tolerated. Everyone who is involved with the festival, from team to venues to audience and artists, can play a part in modelling a culture where everyone’s festival experience is valued and no one is made to feel uncomfortable.
Complaints and incidents can be reported to the festival team. If anything or anyone makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, no matter how minor, please seek out a member of the team or a volunteer who will alert a member of the team, and we will work with you to offer support and understand the situation.
We expect that any person who visits our venue or attends an event within the venue supports this same commitment and is accountable for their own language and behaviour during their visit.
This safe spaces statement is relevant to any events held within Lancaster Jazz Festival, and any partners, venues or collaborators are requested to uphold this policy for the duration of the event.
Should your behaviour be challenged, we ask that you respond with respect and do your best to listen, think, learn, understand and respond appropriately.
If you wish to report an incident or lodge a complaint after the event, please get in touch with the team via email: lucy@lancasterjazz.com or dave@lancasterjazz.com
